The Blues is a musical form that knows a lot about creative cocky-care. The blues takes a sad, hopeless, dark feeling, and expresses and transforms it through the music with gusto and manner. Today we're going to be painting the dejection, and hopefully, transforming them.

You might be interested in some of the supplies I used in this video. Whatever watercolor fix and watercolor brush will do. Be sure to use watercolor newspaper though, because otherwise you won't go the bleeding effects. Here's what I'm using:

  • A bamboo castor – I love the "organic" shapes these naturally make.
  • Windsor & Newton Watercolor Tubes in my homemade portable Altoid tin
  • Strathmore Watercolor Periodical – Mine is smaller than this one – roughly v ten 8.five, only I couldn't find it for you, then this ane is the same simply bigger. You lot tin can determine what size you similar best. I go overwhelmed by anything too big these days.
  • And I didn't end upwardly using it, but that's a Koi watercolor castor you meet in the frame. I proceed one at my desk and in my portable art kit considering it has its own well of h2o. SO CONVENIENT for travel.
